Authorities said they were called about a possible kidnapping in Caln Township around 4:45 a.m. and chased a suspect vehicle through East Fallowfield and West Bradford townships.

At one point during the pursuit, state police said the suspect rammed into a parked PSP vehicle while troopers were deploying spike strips. Authorities said they were able to stop the car in West Bradford but the 19-year-old driver fled on foot and was arrested after another brief chase, according to the police report.

A female victim was found in the vehicle, checked by EMS, and taken to the Caln police department for a vehicle, authorities said.

The suspect was charged with multiple summary, misdemeanor, and felony offenses including fleeing or eluding police, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault on law enforcement, troopers said. His name was not given in the police report.
